Itineraries of Northern and Southern Red Sea

 

 

 

1. Classic North

 

Marseliastar / Betelgueser / Star Jet 

 

A week-long diving safari starting and ending in Hurghada. Visit the best that the Northern Red Sea has to offer. Magnificent drift, reef, wreck and wall diving, caves, plateaus and the big blue. This itinerary will cover the area from the Strait of Tiran, Ras Mohamed National Park and the Gulf of Suez including the famous World War II wreck “SS Thistlegorm” and Dolphins’ area “Shab'b Ali” which is frequently visited when weather permits. 

 

Departure port: Hurghada

2. Wrecks & Reefs

 

Marseliastar / Betelgueser / Star Jet 

A week-long diving safari starting and ending in Hurghada concentrating on some of the best wrecks diving of the world such as Dunraven, World War II wreck “SS Thistlegorm” and the ship's graveyard of Abu Nuhas, a paradise for wreck lovers which is best known for the abundance of ancient and modern wrecks, to name a few, Giannis D, Carnatic, Chrisoula K and the Kimon M. We will also visit dive sites that bottlenose dolphins are often seen.

 

Departure port: Hurghada

3. North-Brothers

 

Marseliastar / Betelgueser / Star Jet 

A week-long diving safari starting and ending in Hurghada or Port Ghalib. Visit some of the best dives sites in the north together with the famous Brother Islands in the Southern part of the Red Sea. The area that is covered on this itinerary is quite large and therefore at times the boat will be sailing during the night.

4. Brothers-Daedalus-Elphinestone

 

Marseliastar / Betelgueser / Star Jet 

 

A week-long diving safari to the Southern Red Sea. This route is considered by many as the best diving route of shark actions in the Red Sea.  Accessible to very experienced divers only, this itinerary takes you to the legendary sites of the Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone. You will dive on these steep drop offs teeming with sea fans, hard and soft corals with encounters of open water pelagic of all kind. The area that is covered on this itinerary is quite large and therefore at times the boat will be sailing during the night.

 

Departure port: Hurghada or Port Ghalib

5. Daedalus-Sattaya

 

Marseliastar / Betelgueser / Star Jet 

 

A week-long diving safari to the Southern part of Red Sea. Visit some of the best dives sites in the south together with the famous Daedalus Reef and Spinner dolphins’ area of Sataya. We will also visit the largest cave of the Red Sea in this itinerary.  The area that is covered on this itinerary is quite large and therefore at times the boat will be sailing during the night.

 

Departure port: Port Ghalib

Important Information:

 

 

All divers are obliged to bring along with you the dive logbook and dive certificate

 

 

All divers must hold an adequate Diving Insurance for all itineraries of the Red Sea.

 

 

The first dive is always a check-dive, which is compulsory for all divers.

 

 

Dives are always guided by an experienced and qualified dive masters.

 

 

The use of a diving computer; SMB and torch (for wrecks) is compulsory.

 

 

English is the official language on board.

 

 

EURO / USD are common currencies throughout Red Sea including safari cruises.

 

 

 

Additional information:

 

 

According to local regulations, no diving activity to be conducted within 24 hours before flight departure. For all north-brothers and south safaris, it is likely and common that embarkation or disembarkation port may vary between Hurghada and Port Ghalib, depends on previous and next safari's itinerary.  The first and last night of the dive cruise are spent inside the port.  The boat leaves to start dive itinerary the next morning after the final approval of coast guards and military authorities .
